Microneedling Treatments

What are Microneedling Treatments?

Microneedling (also known as skin needling or collagen induction therapy) Involves the use of a dermapen, a device which uses multiple small needles at once to create a controlled wound. These micro wounds encourage the body to create a wound healing response and renew the skin at a cellular level. As your skin repairs, the production of collagen and elastin is triggered to give an almost immediate plumping effect. It can also help tackle other skin damage such as scarring, dark marks, sun damage and ageing. Your microneedling appointment will last between 45 minutes to a hour. It can feel slightly uncomfortable depending on pain tolerance levels however this is typically managed without pain relief and any felt effects usually subside immediately after treatment.

Benefits of Microneedling

• Improves Skin Texture and Tone: Microneedling can smooth out uneven skin texture and improve skin tone, giving you a more radiant complexion.

• Reduces Fine Lines and Wrinkles: By stimulating collagen production, microneedling helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

• Minimizes Scars: Effective for reducing acne scars, surgical scars, and stretch marks.

• Enhances Product Absorption: Increases the absorption and efficacy of topical skincare products.

• Reduces Hyperpigmentation: Helps lighten sunspots and other forms of hyperpigmentation.
